Publicide is located in an old printing building in West SoHo.
Chloe Crespi gets credit for all these excellent photos as she came down and spent an afternoon documenting some of our treasured secret corners and elaborate heavy machinery.
Our building is over a hundred years old and there have been (and still are) many printing companies inhabiting its floors for years. In a previous life it was a spice factory and besides the cinnamon dust that sometimes drifts down from the beams, the smell of spices mixes with that of the printing inks to fill the air with the richness of the building's history.
We hope these photos capture a bit of that essence, and will intrigue you enough to stop by and visit us here in one of the last holdouts of New York City's manufacturing industry.
